I don't know whom you've seen using 4 channels, but there are morons out there whom will wire anything, anyway to get more out of it (or what their lack of education and experience allows them to). Good example of this was when last week I saw some 17 year old kid wire up an older RF 150 watt 2 channel amp (that was clearly not bridgeable) as being bridgable by putting the positive of one channel and the neg of the other channel to the sub(s). People do dumb shit, and having that chip in that mounting method is going to make headaches for the guy repairing it AFTER soundigital dissapears and is no longer a boner in 3 years. The point is the repair bill is going to be expensive. Thats all.I'm sure the failure rate is going to be low on this. It's rare for a 4chanel to go out. Well at least I haven't known of anyone dumb enough to push a 4channel o the point of blowing it.
I'm also sure he will provide a warranty with it just like his older lines.
