do me a favor and stop being a ********. im all about helping people but your just stuck on being stupid.
You have NO IDEA what you are talking about...honestly. You copy and paste some bullshit trying to look smart. Read the calculator...its states MAXIMUM CURRENT DRAW WITH LESS THEN .5 VOLTAGE DROP.

YOU ARE AN IDIOT...there is no way else to put it...

That was a pretty sweet copy and paste from wikipedia bro... Seriously though, what do you not understand? As you draw current at a higher and higher rate, the voltage drops. How did you start ranting about the horsepower of an electric engine.

Ummm no. Only if the wire heats up due to too much current.

Also electic motors are not measured in va, only generators and transformers are //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

and that little "

and i posted a couple of different cut an past jobs there as a matter a fact..

thought some people that are actually interested in KNOWING of the actual way to calculate the circullar mills into resistance and the length of wire and the volt drop would be interested.

and i posted an example.... you know... those things the teacher TRYED to show you in school.

uh, duh? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

come on bud, you come into every thread im in and say stupid shit, and continue on. come on...just quit. its ruining every thread.

wow, you guys go from one topic to 20 others.

First off ATTN TEAM DOA you DONT get Crown amps fixed at a local crap shop. They dont know the complex nature of these amps. Send it back to Crown International and it WILL be fixed right and not blow.

There is only 2 ways to blow them too high of voltage and too low of a load. If your running it at 14v and 4 ohms but still blowing it, that tells me its been tampered with by someone who shouldnt touch these amps.

Next, SD amps are nice amps. I seen one in a DB Drag judges car. If Murilo would of given me a better price on the 12k or 16ks I would of grabbed a few to toss in the van and see what we could do with it. The 8k in the rex was very impressive.

Now as for power wire, the thicker the better. BUT the closer the amp to the batteries using shorter wire you can draw more current. The longer the distance the more wire/thicker wire needed to draw that same current to the amp.

yeah, your right. You will never learn anything from anyone on here...because you think you know everything. Im done trying to help you...
