after about an hour or so of driving give or take 15 minutes i guess when i have my system up loud it will randomly turn off.

i am useing an mrp-450 amp with speakers running on channels 1 and 2

and a memphis sub using channels 3 and 4 until i get a stand alone for the sub.

i dont have my gains maxed. both gains are set to like 3/4 and i am also running standard stock speaker wire to the sub from the amp so im not sure if this is an issue?

Could anyone help me resolve the issue

All I find on google with that amp is that it is mono...so please give specs on the amp

What is the coil config of your sub? Single 4 ohm? 2 ohm?

If it is 2 ohms and you have it bridged on your amp, you have to make sure your amp is 1 ohm stereo stable, or 2 ohm mono stable. Does your amp ever get hot?

i have not done the big 3 and i am also not using an optima yellow or red. i think the amp is wired with 8 gauge.

i will check wether the amp is 2 or 4 ohms today.

im not sure im guessing so ive never found out cause it always happens on the highway and i dont wan tto pull over to check lol.

the woofer is 4 ohm
