Sound system upgrade

Hey everyone, its been a while since i been here.

I am planning on getting a 2012 Hyundai Veloster this summer, and want to upgrade the Dimension sound system in it. I am looking at about 800-1k for the upgrade.

There is an 8" sub built into the trunk, I would either put the sub in there. Or I have thought about getting a custom enclosure in the trunk wheel well. The Veloster doesnt come with a spare tire, just tire inflator.

I was wondering what suggestions you all had.

I am looking for at least a sub, amp, and some speakers. The dimension system comes with 8 speakers.

What are you looking for? getting loud, sound quality or both?

I like it to be somewhat loud, but i really want good SQ too. So whatever I could get for 8 to 1k. Also does anyone know what a custom enclosire in trunk well would cost about?
