Sound System Help Needed

So I've been running my system for about 3 years. A Kicker CVR 12" with a Audiobahn A8002t and it's always hit so well. After 2 years I added a Power Acoustik Capacitor and that was running without any problems either. Then a couple days ago, I'm guessing I didn't crimp down the positive that runs to the amplifier and it came off. Tried re-crimping it and now I have no hit, and my Audiobahn went into protection mode. My capacitor shows no signs of power going through it. I've spliced all my wires again, checked fuses, and I even bought a Volfenhag amp (I know some might not think they're all great) cause I thought my amp was done and even then the power light isn't going on but the accessory lights are sort of lit up. Fan isn't running though. So I'm running out of things to diagnose. Is it possible for a whole Positive wire going bad?
