Sound Splinter RL-p12 AMP??

So I'm going to buy a Sound Splinter RL-p12 and was wondering what would be a good amplifier for this sub. I am only buying one and i was told that 500-800 watts rms at 2 ohms is recomended. So what do you have in mind? What most reliable for the best price? I'll pay a little extra to know i have something i can rely on so what do you think? Thanks

Well my budget is around 300 tops having already spent 265 on a driver my money from working all summer is going fast. But I want something nice and reliable for that, anything in mind? I was looking at the eD nine.1 but thats a little more than i would like to spend at 350.

HAving reacessed my budget i now am wondering something in the $200 range that will get the job done. I dont need anything great cause my whole system isnt that great but something that will fit my sub and not break in a couple days.

you can get a used mtx 1000d for about $200. Will give ya about 14-1500 watts at 14v.

you dont want 1400w-1500w on a RL-p

aim for the 800w-1000w range

So anyone got an amp for around 200 that would fit my needs? I was looking on ebay at the kicker kx600 and Pheonix Gold Xenon 600.1. How are those?
