Sound Splinter RL-P expectations??

I wasn't plannning to go that small. I did that with my Solo to maximize my trunk space but really going from .75 to 1.25 is not going to take up much more space. I will just have to get creative with my box design.

whats with everybody hating on the arsenal's already. they arent even out no1's ever heard 1 yet. how can they be so terrible. Anyways i just picked up 2 Rlps. but im wondering if they dont soundt hat great ported like some people say maybe i sohuld get 2 15's and seal them.

i've had a 15 rlp ported in a 2.9 cube box tuned to 28 with 800 watts and i was quite impressed by the loudness and sq like everyone else has mentioned...

i will mention one thing though, althought i was impressed with the sq and the decent loudness, i wanted more in terms of loudness...

maybe i'm just a loud bass junky...anyways, i have a bud with a single rockford P3 with 700 watts sealed and honestly it beated my rlp in terms of loudness...it was muddy and wasn't too accurate but i can honestly say it was noticeably louder...

That's EXACTLY why he is an idiot for recommending it. No one's used it, no one's heard one, no one has a clue how it sounds....how could he possibly recommend someone get that sub?

I can honestly say I have NEVER seen 1 complaint about Mikes customer service, and have read welll over 50 compliments. Everytime theres a problem (sooo very rarely) he deals with it so fast and so professionally.. he puts Customer Service WAAY before his need for your money. and it shows, I will recommend his product to anyone, any day. Quality product and the BEST customer service.

Basically dollar for dollar you would be hard pressed to find a better woofer backed by a better guy than Soundsplinter woofers. To me, Rl-ps are the epitome of what a daily driver woofer should be.

I dont have the ideal car for a big daily system but if I did I would have 2 Rl-p 15's sealed on ~1100 watts, which would come from the Big Belle. Oh a heaven that would be //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

love my rl-ps. the pair takes 2200 watts rms daily, and they get bumped hard a lot. sounds awesome doing it, but i want a little more output. i just ordered some raammat, so if that doesnt make it loud enough, i'm probably looking at 2 rl-p 15's. (not enough room to port a pair of 12's in my car or i'm sure that'd satisfy me)

dont get me wrong, they're loud, i'm guessing 139-141 db without any sound deadener. people that sit in my car are always impressed with the output, but im used to it, need more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I've never heard of any complaints about him either...none, zippo, zilch

rl-p's ****
have you even heard of soundsplinter????

Thanks guys for all the responses. I think I may take a leap and go for it. At least this time I will be buying a product from a company that will offer a warranty, something I was never able to get with my Solos because they were out of production when I bought them. Plus the price is right, a little over $200 is well worth it. I have researched the IDMAX's but they are close to $350 from sounddomain and as I said earlier the JL's are just too much. Thanks again, I will post some opinions hopefully once I get the sub and get it installed.

Idmaxs can be gotten for 279 if you do what I posted eariler. But I'd still go with the RL-p //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Love my 15" Rl-p. I recommened them to everyone but people in my area are ignorant and think the black anodized cone isnt cool b.c its not flasy or doesnt say "teh tpye r pwnage" But anyways it is a great sub for a daily dirver w/ 600-800 watts it sounds lovely and has good enough output for me. Flexes my sunroof with hard bass tracks if i turn it up. If i was to go for more ouptut i'd just buy another 15 and keep it sealed. Sq is on point to my standards and not sloppy at all.
