No, it has nothing to do with the woofers reproduction of music- the woofer plays whatever you tell it to play, it doesn't choose what kick drums it wants to play and what snares it feels like leaving out...

Nice one mang, you see what I mean about rap in the ported. The boom in certain tracks is supposed to be there and you here it much better in ported. You represent class to me, because you did the experiment like me and know what your replying to.

He only proved what we all (except you) have known and have been saying since the beginning of this assinine thread that you starded to allegedly debate the merits of sealed vs ported for sound quality applications. Ported has its place in a large room and can sound good. In the CAR (car audio forum after all, RETARD) a ported enclosure sounds generally exaggerated and is not as accurate. A sealed enclosure is more than capable of playing any material fed to it and without coloring the sound. That is SOUND QUALITY, RETARD.

Only 1000 times do I have to keep saying no box is the best. The point of this thread was if sealed doesn't play the boom from hip-hop like vented, it isn't reproducing the track as it was meant to play. Therefore sealed is not end-all-be-all. Respect to you.

You still have no answer for me... You say that hip-hop made the 808 famous. Hey RETARD the only reason anyone knows what 808 is is because of the early days of car audio. It was PLAYED WITH SEALED ENCLOSURE SUBS, RETARD. Now if sealed isn't doing it for you fine, but you can't say that it doesn't do it justice, cause it made it.
