Sound Quality Comparison- 2 ohm DVC vs 4 ohm DVC

Back to the original question, no it won't have any effect on SQ. A 4 ohm speaker is made to sound good with it's 4 ohm impedance. A 2 ohm speaker the same.

HOWEVER. IIRC, wiring a DVC speaker in series will effectively double the BL. This sets off a tiny chain of events which may or may not increase SQ, but should on paper.

It is my understanding that as you decrease the load on the amp it makes more wattage, but you lose it's ability to use some of that power to control the woofer's travel (damping factor). Now whether or not there is an audible difference I can't really say. That's my $0.02
It's supposed to. I understand that a DF greater than 50 is not really audibly different from a DF of 50 itself, and with some amps having DFs of 100, 200, or higher, well... blah. =p
