Sound From Subs**

I am suddenly getting this sound out of my subs that is a smooth "zzhhhzhzhzhhhzzzzhhhzzzhhhzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" that changes pitch with engine revs. I checked the ground and it was fine, the wires are fine, everything's fine, the only thing that is really wrong is the battery terminals are really corroded. Is it possible that the corrosion and crap from the battery is interfering with the metal connection to the amp and the amp feeds it to the subs? It didn't do this before when it was first installed......but i figured it might be because of the battery....what do you guys think?!?!?!?

By the way its an audiobahn A2300 HCT amp....really big so...if that changes anything....and the subs are those really big audiobahns with flames...i forgot the model number, but they are very strong with magnets that weigh about 320 oz.

LEMME KNOW

how long is your amp ground cable? what you describe is either a bad/too long amp ground, or a bad head unit ground.

shorten up and check (resistance) of both grounds & upgrade your batt & alt ground.

is this the same amp that you left the 12volt and remote connected while you disconnected and reconnected your grounds?? you may have blown a ground trace inside the amp or something worse...

yeah this is the same dude, I checked.

Bro get a life and accept defeat. Go buy another amp.. Yesh you got screwed over on prices (prolly because you did crappy research), and yes your friends a freaking dumbass...

But seriously, stop posting threads.. your amp is done.

I payed 435 for the amp, thats 500 less than ticketed price....everyone is sayin its just the RCAs...most amps that have DC resistors and tubes and shit dont have currents that run back into the amp when the car is not on....so its not the amp..ill jsut replace the deck...and hey....john econ....chill out
