im looking for sound deadner whats the best for your money?? and where to purchase please help:veryhapp:
I bought everything from SecondSkinAudio.com. When I was first doing my research on sound deadening material, EVERYONE over on caraudio.com kept pointing me towards these guys claiming that they are the best. Now I know why. Their deadening is top notch in terms of pliability, thickness, adhesion, and weight. To top it all off, their owner, Anthony Covolla, leaves his cell phone # on the webiste so you can call him with ANY questions you may have! I have called him at least a dozen times with various questions and he has ALWAYS been more than happy to oblige. They make a ton of different materials, so you have quite the selection to choose from. They are constantly running specials and group deals so you can get a great discount. I think I spent around $800 fo all my deadening by strategically choosing my purchase times. I know this sounds like a plug, but these guys are just AWESOME. Another thing to consider is that you are buying directly from the manufacturer, so you don't have to deal with middle-man markup costs as opposed to let's say, Dynamat from Crutchfield. Check out the site HERE. Lemme know if you have any other questions about their products, they're all superb products!if you decide to get anything cheap jsut take my adive and dont put it on any over head surfaces. personally out of the different types of deadeners id rather pay the extra money for a higher quality deadener like second skin
I'm going to bet that you have never used ANY deadener before, so can the peanut gallery please just keep their mouths shut? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gifif money isnt an object dynamat extreme works very well. my second vote would have to go with raammat.
Yep, 100% correct. Damplifier Pro >>>>>>>> Dynamate extremeSecond skin Damplifier Pro. Just used it and it is good stuff. It is also thicker than Dyanamat Extreme.
