your firewall is the wall between your dash and your engine. what are you trying to acomplish with the deadoner. just no rattles or complete silence. this will determine how much you will need. are you on a budget or not. im covering every inch of my car in deadener. when im done ill have about 400-500sqft of deadoner in my car. however i want my car as quiet as it can be so that you can barely hear anything on the outside and so that no noise gets inside the car

i want it to be as quiet as it can be to get more bass,or hear more,,so do i cover the firewall,from the interior of the car,or from the engine compartment

Remember P&S isn't rated above 120 deg., if it gets warm in your area, I would recommend not using it. It's also really thin stuff, and you'll have to use two or three layers to get a true "deadening" effect.

just FYI, my edead v1 looks, feels, and smells EXACTALLY the same as peel and seal... i mean, same stamped aluminum finish, same tar smell, same SIZE, same thickness, same color. hell, the p&s was packaged on a cardboard roll, the edead was just rolled up. so P&S gets a point there.

i dont think there is a serious difference between the two.
