My friend got some of that because after he purchased his system - he didnt install it himself and it cost way more than he expected. So then he started cutting costs here and there and getting cheap. He bought that because it was inexpensive compared to Dynamat and was ADVERTISESED as better. I heard his system and still everything in that car rattled like hell. He got 2 rockford HE 12" running off of a RF 450s, he also got some rockford speakers running off of a RF 550x. I honestly did not think it sounded that good. He seemed to have enought juice but still SQ was not there. Also i did not hear it without the MATS, but from outside of the car it thumped like crazy - I could hear it rattle and thump from halfway up the street.

I would say anything that is like "We have a better quality xxx than xxx company." is a crappy company who never gets to the quality they claim.

I'm not sure if that really helped - but I wasn't impressed in any fassion out the system or deadening material.

FatMat makes good stuff - it's all in the install. I've seen people with Dynamat Extreme all over their trunk, but it still rattled like hell because they either A) Didn't install it properly, or B) Didn't put in the correct areas. When a spot rattles really bad, you sometimes have to put 2 or 3 layers on to stop it. And if you dont put the material on to the exact contours of the mounting surface, it doesn't do it's job.
