Eh, I knew I shouldn't have posted this on CA.com...
If anything goes out in the door it will literally take me 10 minutes to cut all that out. Its gonna get another layer then more dynamat/ensolite so I would have to take that off even if the FG wasn't there.

I think for the remaining two openings I will use ABS/weatherstripping (or ensolite) to seal it up.

You had the general idea right, your execution just sucked. Tape the door up and spray some mold release ( cooking spray, pva, car wax, yada yada) on before you lay the glass. You shouldn't have posted on CA.com because you dont like hearing the truth? Dont post your stuff up if you dont want constructive criticism. A sheetmetal or wood panel screwed down and matted over would have worked s good or better, and would have been removable, for example.
I personally like the part where you try to convince us that cutting out the fiberglass and then having to redo it all would be a quick and easy job.

Not a good idea man if something goes wrong it will be a big pain to get to what you need to repair.

Did you ever think of reinforcing the door hinges? Seems like a lot of additional weight when you add it all up. Does the door sag at all?
