Sound Deadening Help

I'm considering covering the lid of my trunk in Hushmat. Concerns as you can see in the pictures below are that the surface is not flush at all.

If someone could take my pics and photoshop/paintshop the areas where i should/shouldnt cover in deadener that would be great.
