I'm needing to deaden my trunk VERY soon, it rattles WAY too much. I will deaden the majority of the car, but more concerned about the trunk. I was just wanting to know what brand you used, would you recommend that brand, and how much you used for the trunk? Here's a video of my trunk without any deadening on it at all. Mind you, these are also in a sealed box, and I am soon going ported...

How much money do you have to spend? Shipping, especially for next day is pretty expensive for this stuff, however.

Not too sure on the budget, have to see if one of my checks come in today. Should be around $150-$200, but I was thinking I might do the DIY thing, and get some Thermwell insulation, and get some foam spray, and buy some new components with the rest, but I'm not sure...

I can do my whole trunk for ~$90, if I were to do the DIY thing, and that's making sure I have no vibrations inside the trunk lid itself.

If you buy 40 sq ft of regular damplifier it will be enough to get a good start on your trunk lid and rear deck and also deaden your doors very nicely. I put about 18 sq ft in my trunk and the difference it made in the sound in the vehicle and out was amazing. I have also heard very good things about rammat but have no experience.

I was thinking of buying some raammat today but just dont know how much i need. I just want to do my trunk and i have an 2001 eclipse just wondering how many sq feet you guys think i would need before i buy it. I think i might split the roll with a couple buddies but just need some input on how much sq feet is needed thanks.
