Sound coming from subs when car is on with volume all the way down

eliminator the source, unplug the rcas from the deck and see if the noise is still there with no rcas in the deck, if itigoes away its the deck, if not unplug the rcas from the amp, if it goes away its the rcas, if not unplug the rcas from the amp, if when turned back on the noise is still there its the amp or amp wiring. always turn the amp off when plugging or unpluggin RCa's

Thank you, another question... Since i have 2 amps one for my subs and 1 for my front stage speakers should i purchase 2 isolaters 1 for each or how does this stuff work?? THNX again

dont people say that ground loop isolators just cover up the problem? Or is that something else im thinking of?

Dont waste your money, all they do is ground the RCA's. Just search grounding RCA's and it will show you how to do it. All you need is a piece of wire.

Also did anyone notice that he said it also does it when the car is off? That means there is a big problem with wiring. If it does it when the car is off that means the amp is staying on when the car is off...You need to check into that, along with grounding your RCA's. I had a similar problem and i used a GLI and it did not work, than i grounded the RCA's and problem gone.

Sorry what I meant was... When the key was all the way back, thats what I mean by off... what I meant by on was when the motor was on. Sorry that was my fault, didn't mean to miss lead you guys.

No need to be sorry, simple misunderstanding. If thats the case than just try grounding your RCA's. Should solve the problem.
