If my sound check isnt turned all the way up before I burn a cd on iTunes dont you have to turn up the volume in your car louder than usual?

Whenever I downloaded the songs from the guy who posts them on here I put them onto iTunes and then burned a cd but I have to turn my volume up louder than usual..anyone know why this is? bad file?
