Pretty sure New York has Brown Recluse. Hitting deer, yeah, I've hit about a half dozen over the years. I was with my buddy when he hit one in his neon going about 125mph. Had to get the whole front end off his car cut off from the firewall up, and replaced with a clip. Funny thing is, I'll hit one, send it flying about 30 feet in the air, then the bastard always gets up and runs away.
