Sorry

Thats what I was about to say..Brown Recluse. The bite starts off tiny, almost like a mosquito bite. Over the course of the next few days, it will basically disolve the skin away in an circular pattern, and without treatment, will totally eat a huge gaping nasty hole in your hand. Glad you were able to get medical attention. What are they giving you for it anyway?

Not to scare you, but heres some pics of a Brown Recluse bite: ***Warning! Graphic Content!***

Day of the bite:

At this point, the guy gets a skin graft. Heres the eventual scar:

I'll add that this apparently is not typical, just a more extreme case. Amazing how such small spider can reap so much havoc.

I got a bite like this, docs thought it was a brown recluse. Had a black spot of dead skin about the size of a dime on my calf muscle and most of my leg from the knee down was red. Hurt like a MF'r, made my leg muscle so stiff I couldn't walk.

They just threw me on antibiotics. I caught it early which seems to help. Hopefully yours clears up quick...spiders **** nutz.

edit...Holy mother of god I'm glad my bite didn't end up like the one pic'd above. Sheeeeeitt
