I have the xm5547r. I have everything wired correctly. The amp was working but is now going into protection. Any ideas on what it could be. I am running everything from scratch again just to eliminate any issues with wiring.

Your answer is in your subject line of the thread. Its a Sony Xplod bro. Throw it away or sell it on Craigslist for $20. What subwoofer(s) are you runing and what impendence?
