i'm thinkin you don't trust offbrand subs or subs you can't see advertised by a company like best buy, well then don't there are still PLENTY of options that will be better than the sonys for the same price, have you thought about p1's?
never heard of p1offbrand stuff is sketchy, but at the same time, its like home-made food versus fast food...and judging by the replies i am getting from this forum...Mach5 sounds like a good choice...i do have a credit card and WOULD be considering buying Mach5 subs, just gotta do my homework and get some good info first. One problem though, it does say that the 12" subs are 8ohms...is there a way to get 4ohms?
yeah buy 2 of them or 1 4 ohm sub, yeah see most people on here will recomemnd off brand and alot of them are really good, but buying from a store is less of a hassle and a little more dependable p1 is a rockford fosgate sub (assuming best buy carries them in canada) they are shitty too but much better than the sonys
yea w0s **** nuts compared to w7s too... but he's lookin for more of a buget sub and for that price p1s are a huge improvement on tha sonys
ohhhh yea we have P1s here, P2s and P3s aswell...i heard that those were really shitty so i stayed away from them all togetherNow that you got me interested on the Mach5s though, how If say I wanted to hook up 12" Mach5 subs at 2ohms (since my amp will do 900W @2ohms RMS) i know if i connect 2 4ohm subs in parallel it will give me 2ohms but the problem is that the amp only has outputs for 2, at 8ohms in order to get 2, id have to hook up 4 in parallel wouldnt i?
