Grab some db-500's for 99 each and they'll do you MUUUUUCH better. The red one I believe is the oldest one and each one you posted after that is newer. I believe they changed some power handling info as well.

Just find a good used or new sub on the FS threads here for the same price you would buy 2 of those crappy sonys. I know you can find one, hell I bought my TC sound for 140 shipped.

sony is def. not great quality stuff but they are not as bad as alot of people make them out to be... but i wouldn't buy them at best buy, you can get better for the money.

He is in Canada though, and will be nailed customs and taxes if he orders from them. That was the whole reason why I did what I did...

please dont buy sony, on a rating of 0-100 sony probably ranks in the high 30's and mach 5 iis atleast double that. . . . . mach 5 is good stuff from what I hear everywhere i go. buy 1, you wont regret it.

get a new set of type e's or bigger ones? i personally really liked the sound of ones i had. i felt they were much more musical than my d6 or cvx. just not as loud.

Yeah, I've owned a couple Mach 5 subs, all of which have been amazing budget drivers.
