sony xplod subs

my cuzn has the 12" sony x plod aluminums and loves them but i hear that sony isnt so great. does anybody own sony x plod subs. if u do please tell me the good and bad parts about them. if u can e mail me. mikeloc@optonline.net

they r pretty loud for the price my friend used to have 4 12's in a caddy but they do sound like complete AASSSSSSSS

i own one of those 12" aluminium cones

aint puttin it in the car though...cause i got 10"s that are the same RMS and get louder

my boy has 2 p5s in a accord and its clean, he likes it, another one of my boy has 4 sony 8s and his shit sounds amazing for what it is lol

I had one 12" P5 and umm it got aite loud, but sounded like crap

Xplods look ugly, fake, and does sound nasty most times. I wouldn't recommend it, but if you tend to like it, then thats your choice.

I knew someone that had the red conned ones. For 2 fairly cheap 12's they really didn't sound half bad. They did get loud, like most people here have said, but they didn't really hold the SQ with rock or anything.

I've heard them sound like ***, and I've heard one sound decent.

All I really know for sure is they take a punch to the cone WAY better than the new rockfor punches, lol. If you don't beleive me go to BB, CC and try it out.
