Sony Xplod Head problem

I am helping my brother hook up his Sony Xplod CDX-C5050X Head unit into his truck. I have power to the unit and it appears to work fine, however there is no sound. This unit used to be used with an amp, however the amp has been removed. Any help would be great.

Did you check the settings to have internal amp on or connect the speaker wire to the deck?

mabye the internal amp is fried.

look at the deck in the settings. mabye there is a feature you have disabled/enabled for using the internal amp. im not too familiar with sony xplod decks.
