I have a Sony Xplod 1000 watt sub and 2 12" kicker Comp Subs in a 2 ohm box. I was wondering if i wire it to the left speaker side like i had to on my 600 watt amp if it will be safe. Cause they are made for 600 watts but at 2 ohm. and 300 watts RMS. Anyone know if this will be fine to run the 1000 watt amp on these 2 subs?

Every shop around here is like we dont deal with Kickers and SOny so you need to call the companys. Which is bull but oh well.

Im in Marshfield,

Oh and sorry i cant afford the high end stuff. I work a min wage job and have car payments and other bills.... I didnt want something for compition just something i can have bass with. It hits plenty hard for me, i just want to know if that 1000 is safe to run on these since i dont have it bridged.

its called saving up. ive worked long and hard to get what i want ,you should too

Well Its an older xplod that still has like the X style on the top and says 1000 watts on it. I used the 600 watt amp for about 6-7 months now and had to trade it to help my mom out. Sorry i have more important stuff i have to do to and help family and now all i have is this 1000 watt thats been sitting around for almost a year. I just want to know if it will be alright if i just leave it on the left side insted of bridging it. Like i said i dont want a system that is insane. Just something i enjoy and i enjoyed it with the 600. I work 30 hours a week at a min paid job and have a car payment, cell phone payment, gas bill, insurance, utilities, some others and im currently workin on getting a motor for my car. So i dont have money for an amp right now, im just tryin to get a question answered if this will work or not.

Endofdays89 where you from

what is your current setup kove? I don't even know what you be runnin
2 21" DP's 2 1500ds soon to be 4 later and custom 3ways mids/tweets mavin and kicker ssmb8's in door. RF360.2 jvc deck multi runs of 0 4 exide orbitals mechman large case. ahhhh yeah its mean i need to get on it and finish it .

IF its bridge its at 4 ohms and when its on the left channel its 2ohms which i need for this box. So do you think it will be safe to run this 1000 watt on it though on the left channel. Cause if its on just the left channel at 2 ohm its not the full 1000 watt right?
