Ok well i just bought 2 of these with 2 boxes , one for each, off of my friend for $20. Yes i know these are sony. But i was wonderiong what you guys recommend as a cheap amp. Also should i get a dual ported box for them?

directed 600d off ikesound is pretty cheap ( i wouldnt recommend buying from them unless you got desprit (spelling?)) just look around http://www.woofersetc.com and http://www.millionbuy.com the power accoustik 820 is a nice budget amp for around 100 bucks

Man these may be POS subs but at the last show I attend some guy had these...6 12"s in his trunk and dammn was it loud ( to the ear ) didn't put up such a big score as I expected but shit was it louder. It suprised me when I saw they were xplods...he hit a 145.0db

Get an Audiobahn A8002T off of ebay for around 125 shipped. 800watts RMS @ 4ohm mono. This amp really pounds my CVR15. Yes I know its an Audiobahn, but I am not complaining for the price I paid.
