Im just wondering if the Sony XM-2165GTX XPLOD Car Audio Amp 1000W is a good, high quality amp. If you could give me your reviews on this product, i would appreciate it greatly. Also, does anyone know if this amp works well with a pair of 12" 2400 w Sony Xplod XS-L121P5 subs? Please respond soon!

what subs are you powering/what is your budget?

My budget is 500. and im 15 without a job. so i dont need the best stereo out there, but anything nicer than stock. and what is it about sony audio that is so horrible?

sony stuff is not reliable...good...or anything. it just sucks. there is SO much better stuff out there.

what exactly do you want for 500? speakers? subs?

well on ebay i found a cd player, subs, a box, an amp, and wiring for about 500, plus i want speakers if possible. also, my dad told me that i may need another amp just for the speakers, but he hasnt studied audio stuff for at least 10-20 yrs. any help would be greatly appreciated.
