hey guys i got a problem, my sony xplod mdx (dont know the model) its the one that is motarized and is black. anyways my alarm shoret circuited i think and now it works but the controls on the unit and the graphic and everthinhg dont work, therefore it works perfect but the sccreen is blank but my problem is it wont eject my cd. i dont care at the moment about the screen because i know all the controls by heart but is there some way i can eject the cd to hear other ones.?thankz

check the flat cable, thou it doesnt seem like that's the problem

my guess is that you damaged something internally

Sony xplods fantomface style usually have issues with flat cables, that's why im telling you this.. but my guess is that this is not your case since the problem shown up after you shorted the battery...
