Sony Install

I am struggling to fit a Sony CD receiver that my brother donated from his old car, but without wiring instructions.

The wire connections are as follows.

From the unit via a black box with 6AMP fuse and electronics within

Yellow

Black

Direct from unit

Red with 1 AMP fuse

Black

I assume the yellow is permanent positive, red is to ignition and both

the blacks to earth, but any clarification would help
