Sony better than Polk ?

I have a sony car audio system in my car. And its beeen 3 years now and i want to go for an upgrade. I came across Polk audio systems. I thought of giving it a try, but i really neeed some expert advise from you guys.. I want to know if Sony is better than Polk. I own a ford mustang and I am a person who takes long drives. I listen to lot of music. So a good audio system is very essential for me. I Please review and post your feedbacks here.

i have the interiors of my car already done..so please suggest what are the things I have to take care of while fixing this car audio system.. ??

Polk is much better than sony, imo. Polk seems to be geared toward sq in many of their products, and i have always had good experince with polk
