Does anybody have a Sony adapter for a Sony HU and changer they want to sell or know where I can find one for cheap? My changer is currently reading from FM and is not directly compatible with my HU.

Anybody??? Maybe I should clarify. I have a changer that reads from my FM and was told that there is some kind of adapter that I can buy that will make my changer and HU directly compatible. I want to be able to use my changer by using my HU and not the wired changer remote that I currently have. Thanks.

Universal FM modulator changers can't be wired direct to a head unit as far as I know. If your deck has changer controls, you need to have the changer that's designed for it.

Thanks. I found out the hard way. Is it normal for the sound quality to be poorer with a changer running from FM verses directly from the HU? When I play a cd from the HU it's louder than from the changer.

Dunno about volume level, but the frequency response of an FM broadcast isn't as good as a CD. You'll also get more hiss and noise.
