sony 1200watt amp help

kk i got all new sound system all pinoeer but the amp(since i work at canadian tire they sold it to me for 170 bucks)

kk the led light comes on (blue one) but i get no sound from the subs.

I Rewired everything but the power wire since i know that can't be pinched. and got it working for 20 mins then i put my seats up to drive to my friends house on the way i stoped to put the seats back down to get more sound, and they just stoped working.(i thought i pinched a wire or pulled one)

im using a 1400watt amp wireing kit and the ground wire is only 8g wire, but i even tryed useing two 8g wire see if that would help but nothing. any ideas? should i return the amp? or get a new wireing kit? and yes i got the subs turned on from the deck

1400watt kit with 8ga. wire? Maybe your RCA's are shot, check them...

If Rcas are the red and white wires from the deck to the subs, tryed 3 sets not one of them works.

yea tryed 3 sets of them not one worked, what i was thinking it was the fuse peice, where the kit didnt have them alrdy joined i had to cut the power wire and join them i think i never gave enought wire to the fuse, ima try that if not i dunno what to do

maybe you messed your ground wire up by puttin the seats down or that amp is just a piece of shit and was meant to last only 20 minutes

Are you SURE that the RCA's are on the decks pre-amps OUT and not the INs. Just something obvious you may have over looked.

I'm not understanding your ground... It looks red when it is grounded, but then at the amp it appears to be purple???

what's confusing - it exits the amp and curls back around underneath it - we just don't know where it's terminated at.

It does look like larger power than ground wire though - 4 and 8?
