Thanks, its about 65sq in of port. I think it may be a little too much. I played Hoods run down, by Lil Whyte, and the third or forth note caused some serious movement, lol. Thank God for sub sonicsLookin good, how much port area?
I would like to see more pics or another vid.Thanks. Need some interior work and choose a color for paint. Just installed the 350 I had built for it, she runs like a champ![]()
Nah I'd go bigger, not good for below tuning but at tuning especially and above = winThanks, its about 65sq in of port. I think it may be a little too much. I played Hoods run down, by Lil Whyte, and the third or forth note caused some serious movement, lol. Thank God for sub sonics
The car or the sub?I would like to see more pics or another vid.
Really? Should I tune it lower, you think? How big would you suggest?Nah I'd go bigger, not good for below tuning but at tuning especially and above = win
you could drop tuning to like 30hz and increase port area to maybe 75-80ish and you'll most likely gain audibly in the 30-40hz region. Only do it if you have enough room obviously cuz remember increasing port area = longer port + dropping tuning = longer port x 2 which means alot more box space taken up by the port lolThe car or the sub?

You must not have been paying attention to the vid, lol. I could drop another box that exact same size right behind that one, and still have about 10" on either side, plus the box can be about 4 or 5 more in taller. Size isn't an issue. I'll try it this weekend maybe and let you know how it goes, thanksyou could drop tuning to like 30hz and increase port area to maybe 75-80ish and you'll most likely gain audibly in the 30-40hz region. It varies but that sub looks like it can get moving...so I don't think it'll have a problem handling a bigger port, is there a ton of air movement out of the port right now at tuning?
If nothing else, you'll be moving more air with a bigger port
I would like to see both lol. i just love the car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifThe car or the sub?

How much does the sub currently move at tuning? 3.5 cubes is huge, so you have to be careful. I have a 10 in 3 cubes net though...its a balancing act. What size box would you recommend with the 28-30hz tuning? I'm on this calculator, but the box would have to be substantially larger to accomodate the tuning. Would 3.5cubes be ok?
It moves maybe 1" or so at tuning. I'm having hell on this calculator trying to get this thing right. I do 30hz tuning, but the box is either way too small or too big.
