I downloaded Gorilla Zoe - Hood N*gga (Screwed) slowed down bass version...

first of all that shit is badass, incredible lows but when playing on my Fi bl 15 it my sub makes a hissing sound and looks like its straining..

Box is tuned to 32hz with 1200 watts going to the sub

Should i not play this song on my system?

???? ok

all songs have stop and go bass

I think your refering to the lower notes.

As long as you dont over heat the voil coils you will be fine

if you start to smell voice coil then you might wanna turn it down a bit

so the hissing sound is fine? It looked like the note was way too low for my sub cus it was bout to jump out the box lol. Not sure why though cus my box is tuned to 32hz handles all notes well

do any of you guys have a copy of the song...

Mechanical damage can be achieved before a fried voice coil if you're playing stuff too loud too far below tuning.

It sounds like you're driving it to its mechanical limits. If you keep this up, you run the risk of blowing the sub (torn spider, locked coil, ripped surround, etc..)

That song chopped and screwed would have a pretty low bass line and would definitely be well below the tuning frequency of your enclosure.

...right ive been listening to chopped and screwed on the same set of subs for 3 years now at very loud volumes for atleast 45 min each time (my drive to work is 45 min)

no problems so far

Good for you. That doesn't mean that this guy isn't pushing his to their mechanical limits by playing stuff below the tuning frequency at too high volumes.

A subsonic filter should be used here to help reduce the risk of any damage.
