Yeah, doesnt look like there is much you can do about it though.the thing is that he's my buddy's supervisor and i don't really want my dude to catch all the backlash.
he's a fukking noobx.....i got the situation resolved. I told him that i called the technical support at JL and that they told me the sub will handle it, which isn't exactly a lie since we all know the RMS rating is derived from a bench test and not a real world application. At any rate, i know even if he calls himself they will say that the sub is more than capable of handling it.:warning bad analogy ahead:
That's kinda sorta maybe like ordering a Murcielago and getting the LP640 instead then inturn refusing to go through with the deal because "it has too much power" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
Does he not realize that there is a thing called gain? 100W isn't much at all more...oh well.
But if he does call theyll probably tell him that it voids the warranty. Which he will get all pissed at all over again. Just a possibility. hahahahe's a fukking noobx.....i got the situation resolved. FTW >>>>>well i called them myself just now to be sure and they said exactly what i thought they would.. They have 300 listed as the thermal capacity but the warranty isn't void until you hit upwards of 500 watts.
