Son of a Bish!!!

:warning bad analogy ahead:

That's kinda sorta maybe like ordering a Murcielago and getting the LP640 instead then inturn refusing to go through with the deal because "it has too much power" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Does he not realize that there is a thing called gain? 100W isn't much at all more...oh well.

Dude is a tard, plain and simple. I've ran a JL 1000/1 on a 12w1v2 for a while, no problems. I'd be so enthused about recieving a new model amp that makes more power for the same money.

BTW, we have had the 800.1 D3's in stock for almost 2 months. They are different from the 600.1's. They are smaller, and they have this option to daisy chain another amp on to them, I guess you can consider it "straping" two together.

he's a fukking noobx.....i got the situation resolved. I told him that i called the technical support at JL and that they told me the sub will handle it, which isn't exactly a lie since we all know the RMS rating is derived from a bench test and not a real world application. At any rate, i know even if he calls himself they will say that the sub is more than capable of handling it.

But if he does call theyll probably tell him that it voids the warranty. Which he will get all pissed at all over again. Just a possibility. hahaha

well i called them myself just now to be sure and they said exactly what i thought they would.. They have 300 listed as the thermal capacity but the warranty isn't void until you hit upwards of 500 watts.
