Something very sad and serious. Please read.

I think personally that we should occupy every African country with problems, get rid of the dictator/leader and set up a democratic government then stay for a couple more years to make sure they do it okay //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Lets worry about the recession and other things that involve the US

Well,,, if you look at your history you will remember that that has been tried. In colonial Africa France, Brittan, Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Spain, Belgium and Italy controlled the entire continent. Honestly, the continent was relatively stable under colonization versus now. There is a school of thought which proposes some sort of recolonization however this is less than realistic.

And considering our globalized society, this is something to worry about involving the U.S. The U.S. currently provides 9 billion dollars per year to the continent via Department of State and USAID programs. Over 15 billion has been spent over 5 years for HIV aids.

It is naive to assume that what happens in even the most janky countries do not have an impact on us here in the United States.

So does your friend think the ICC made a mistake issuing the warrant? Would it have been better to delay so that fragile peace might be maintained?

All Bashir has to do to avoid arrest is stay in his own country, so i dont really see how this warrant is helpful to the Sudanese people....
