something is wrong with my amp...HELP!

my subs are fine but arent putting out...all they are doing is making a bumping noise...kinda like a heart beat just....bump....bump....bump. theyre just really low bops. anyone know what is wrong? oh and im running a hifonics bxi1206 to an Fi Q.

Sounds symptomatic of a poor ground connection to me...

It's called your amps pulse.. Maybe it has high blood pressure?

Are the subs wired out of phase perhaps?

they are wired right...its was just playing for a couple minutes then it just cuz off and started like pulsing...but really low. so i turned my truck off for a while and turned it back on and it did the same. both subs still pulse and the fuse isnt blown. and the protection light didnt go on either...so i have no idea of what it is. im gunna try to wire it in one of my buddies cars to see if its my electrical system in my truck.

hopeyou didnt have the gain up too high and possibly clipped the signal

i keep the gain all the way down...i have no idea of what it could be.

i'd suggest unhooking everything and re hooking it up. as prowler said, it could be a bad ground. try checking that
