Something in my eye.. Help!

I got a peice of turf in my eye this football season, scratched it as first reaction since I was playing. ended up scratching my cornea. My Great Uncle is a eye surgeon, and told me to use Smothe eye drops and after bout two days it didnt hurt at all. this ish works!

had a similar incident (well TWO this year) First one was MDF in the eye. Doc had to use a type of sander to remove it.. Second, I was sitting on my effing deck and soemthing loged into my eye. Did the whole water thing, no luck. Ended up at the eye doctor AGAIN for the 2nd time in 3 months.. He had to flip the lid, DRILL something out of my eye and send me packin.. Good news it, it sounds worse than it is. Once he puts in numbing drops, he could pop your eye out and hand it to you, and you wouldnt notice LOL.. Its AFTER then numbness goes away that sucks balls. Dr told me to just go home, eat some tylenol and go right to bed for the night (it was 3pm!!) He was right, I should have went to bed.....

Does it sting/hurt when you blink? If so, you might have a scratched cornea. I had one about 2 months ago. Something got underneath my 30 day contacts and scratched my eye while I slept. I now wear daily disposables because of that.

I had a piece of metal in my eye and it started to rust the doc had to drill out ALL the rust and the metal piece. Bad thing I had to go back to work finish the day out then go sit in at the DMV waiting on new tags before I could go home and take some pain killer.

Same exact thing happened to me a couple of months ago, piece of metal lodged in my eye and rusted. Had to get it drilled out. took two visits to get it all out, and then a follow up.
