Something I never understood about fuses....

they are pure metal, wire=tiny strands

very short lengths of smaller diameter wire can be used without choking much.

Since the fuse is so short, its doesn't do any harm.

Some good info and some bad info.

But basically its because its such a small length as stated.

Also a solid wire of equal ampreage to a stranded wire is only a little smaller.
