I know this may sound dumb but I need to know how to get more power out of my amp? Now here comes the dumb part, the amp is a 400 watt/ 4 channel amplifier and the manual says it is non-brigeable. I have a 500 watt sub that I want to hook up to it, but it seems that I'll only be able to hook it up to one channel what with it being non-bridgeable and all. I have heard someone say that there is way I could wire it up somehow without it auctually being briged and push out more power to my sub. Can anyone come up with any other methods to solve my problem. Thanks.

maybe split both the + and - of the speaker wire so there are 2 positives and 2 negatives and hook it up like its 2 speakers going to it???? this is just a guess...dont try it until it is approved by another person.
