Some things I've done

You seem to have a good hand will tools and electronics, but I'd be willing to bet (only based off pictures) that you need to learn some about audio. The first setup looks nice, not a big fan of particle board. It's not optimum really in my opinion, but it does look neat. Generally mixing woofers is a no no. Not sure what woofers are on the ends.
I really like the stealth radar install. I was thinking of doing something similar, but radar don't stay in place too well on 28 hz notes.
that's what I was going to say about mix matched subs, however, if he just installs stuff, he has to go with whatever people bring him.

I completely agree with you about mixing subs but maybe if I give you a little history surrounding the subs you can see why we did it. My brother owns a wrecking yard. The two subs on the sides are Infinities that came out of a car from his yard. So my niece started out with the two 10's. A few months later, this old lady came in and said she wanted to sell him a 98 accord or something along those lines. My brother ended up giving her$ 50.00 for the car and as she was walking out, she turns and tells him "oh yea, there's about $2500 worth of stereo stuff in there. My brother figured she didn't have a clue what she was talking about and didn't give it another thought. A few weeks pass and they pull the car in to start tearing it down. Popped the trunk and guess what they found? Yep, the 3 JL's, the larger Kenwood you see on the box and a 4 channel JL that we stuck behind the factory sub location on the rear passenger side panel. I guess she got pissed at her grandson or something. Anyway, we wired up the 3 JL's to run off the larger Kenwood amp and we have a smaller Kenwood mono amp under the rear seat to run the two Infinities.

So between the hu being over 15 years old along with two kenwood amps, everything else has been pulled out of wrecked or junked cars and you would be shocked to here how good it sounds. We probable only have about $300 in the whole system and that includes new wires and cables.
