I call this my "neat little gadget"

So the SN95 Mustang has this little coin holder that is usless unless you only have about 35 cents to your name so I decided to come up with something a little more usefull. This is for my Escort X50 radar detector

I started out with this.

Made this

pulling the guts.

and ended up with this

The detector is mounted right above my mirror

I like how we were able to mold the side of the box up around the wheel molding for a cleaner look then just squaring it off.

Here is the amp cover, just need to get some pictures of it installed.

The coin holder is untouched and in the glove box. I made the cover out of ABS plastic.

You seem to have a good hand will tools and electronics, but I'd be willing to bet (only based off pictures) that you need to learn some about audio. The first setup looks nice, not a big fan of particle board. It's not optimum really in my opinion, but it does look neat. Generally mixing woofers is a no no. Not sure what woofers are on the ends.

I really like the stealth radar install. I was thinking of doing something similar, but radar don't stay in place too well on 28 hz notes.
