Some Suggestions?

I'm going to be doing a build for a buddy of mine, he has an S-10 Blazer Xtreme, and he wants a decent system, but not too expensive. I can't really tell you a budget yet, 'cause he's not sure how much money he has to give up yet. He wants an SPL setup that can be used for a daily driver, with a good amount of continous amount of power, without having problems with it. He wants either an Eclipse head unit, or a Pioneer headunit. I was thinking a 680P, I haven't had too much expirence with Eclipse, so I would like some suggestions on that. I need suggestions for everything. Don't worry about how much the equipment is, I'll decide on what to get when I get a budget.
