i was just gonna say that well im bias tho since im a all alpine fan for the price off ebay i am thinking of getting a type r too the sq is great for the dollar ratio

Dude go to circuit city cuz right now they are having a buy one get one free deal on the kicker comp subs...2 decent subs for 90 bucks and build urself a good box.

it will be alot better than buyin those P.O.S. Duals trust me! and in all will be about 120 bucks with the subs and the materials to build urself a box.

You can get 2 10" comps from CC for $80 and a dual 10" sealed box for $60, or 2 12"s for $90 and a dual 12" sealed box for $70.

i sheet of wood cost $20. the cost of screws and glue can't be more then $10. plus the quality of the box will be better then prefab, and you can build the box to the subs specs and it will sound better.

A sheet to build ~ 2 cubes of 3/4 cost me $6 with pieces cut. Screws and glue was another 6. Where are you shopping?

^ That's the only reason I bought it. Well, that and it was less than a hundred bucks. I planned on returning it, but to be truthful, it's kickin' ***.
I let people listen to my setup, and they're continually impressed;

My girlfriend hates it, it's too loud.

Just goes to show, a proper setup can be quite loud @ 400 watts.

yes, id go with either the comp vr or the single type-r whichever your choice this is going to be your best bet
