whats the cost of living out there? im in IL and have been looking to move somewhere a bit more well, not cold.... and the only beach in IL is lake michigan which is pretty much like going swimming in a nuclear reactor so ya

high. i've only been here about a week and a half so far, but here's a few things and how much they cost.

rent for a 2 room apartment 1800, subway doesn't even have five dollar footlongs, the cheapest footlong sub is 9.13. a loaf of bread is just over 5 dollars. a box of noodles for pasta is 3 something, which were like .49 at home in michigan lol.

hahahh yeah i heard. i talk to my gf everyday when i wake up and i asked her how the weather was, she said it was snowing and i started to laugh.

That was Lahaina, Maui. Even if the Banyan tree plaque didn't say it, I couldn't forget it. My wife and I got married there a little over a year ago and I wouldn't forget it. That was the most relaxing, scenic week of my life.

that one that i took pictures of is the only one i've seen so far, but i live about 20 minutes outside of town. They all go to Lahaina, which would be comparable to like a Downtown Plymouth. Not really big but there's always stuff going on.

We were still living in Michigan when we went there. Wife's plane got snowed in at first, had to catch another. But they did give us first class.
