some one wanna help me figure out how to make a ported box?

hey guys, this is my first time ever doing somthing like this. I wanted to make a Ported box for a Fi Bl 18in Dual 1 ohm. They recomend it should be tuned at 32hertz. 5-10cubic feet,12-16in^2 per cube of internal volume after displacements, my desire demsions for the box is 37W by 15 height by 20 dpth. Ive looked at the re Lport enclourse calculator but im a little confused. i know i have to have around 80 for port area, and i also dont know where i would cut for the mounting for the sub can it be on the same side of the vent? how far should it be from the vent ? if you guys can help me build a box i'd greatly appreciate it!

with you dims you would need to go sub up, and i would go port back facing the trunk or hatch

your dimensions are only 5.1^3 gross, so not enough room for an 18...

there's a guy in chicago who has an 18" ported box for free. was in the trunk of a maxima. SNB778 is his screen name...
