well yeah...bought a 7" widescreen monkey video lcd while i was down at school...and decided it was time to mold it into the spot my radio used to be in...

some duraglass/body filler/sanding/6 hours later this is what i came out with so far...

so far its turnin out pretty darn good, im proud of myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif had to do quite a bit of cutting to get the frame for it to fit in the opening....still have to mold the 1/2 DIN monkey video dvd player underneath it and relocate the hazard and defogger buttons...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

why of course i did //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif scuffed it up withs ome nice 40 grit sandpaper....it did the trick.....btw its for a ford escape...more pics comin tonight, gonna start molding the 1/2 din dvd player into it.

alllllllllrighty heres the finished product:

theres a few imperfections on it that i have to fix still...but this cold chicago weather and working in a non heated garage really sucks.+

and btw...the reason for the 2 diff color blues on the painted pieces...im in the process of repainting everything the same color as the whole center dash piece...since its the actual color of my car and i figured it would look cleaner like that instead of some bright *** blue.

I also agree but the molding is pretty kickass. I wish I had mad skillz to do something like that.
