anyone know what kinda numbers people are getting with a

12 or 13 W7 off of a 1000.1 or amplifier that is close to it in specs..

i know i know its application dependent but im looking for a range not a specific number like 130's, 140's, 120's? mid 130's etc.

thanks dudes

whats not a valid question?
Asking for a "range" of SPL. It's completely user dependent.

For example, I've metered my e12a.22 consistently in the 134-136 range, depending on what TL I happen to be using. Does that mean they can't go deep in the 140's? I'm sure if you put it in an SPL box, in a vehicle with a much smaller cabin that's more meter friendly, you could see huge gains. I don't worry about that because SPL isn't a primary concern for me.

Your question is nothing more than a "how loud will it get" question disguised as something else.

They are not SPL subs.

hmmm maybe not, but go to FloridaSPL.com and talk to mike.. he has 4 JL 13.5W7's on 4 MMATS 2200.1's.. runnin in bassrace 149.9 class which means he plays music for 30seconds and averages around 149 db on TL.. and he burps roughly a 151.5-152 .... so in the right application they are loud subs

BTW this is his setup

i had 2 x 12" rl-ps on an orion 2500d @ 1 ohm = 2500wrms.

got a 12w7 on the orion now @ 3 ohm =1400 wrms, the w7 is louder and cleaner than the 2 x rl-ps.

loud and clean
