Found out somehow water is getting inside my doors and all over my mids so what im thinking is machining nylon cylinders into a tophat type of shape, the speaker will screw through the "Rim" of the hat so to speak, and the rest will go into the door to keep it covered. my question is, should i completely seal off the speaker, or leave the *** end, or top of the "hat" open.

If i do seal it off how much space should I give the mids?

And if any off you have any better ideas let me know, I just ahve access to a full machine shop so it would be fairly easy to make these...

Yeah no kiddin man lol although the nylon would prolly have a pretty good effect in sound, at least I would think so
